Chicken Wine Mee Suah

One of my favorite food is Chicken Wine. From young till now, I am so eager to have this dish and what I love most is not the chicken but the Muk Yee and the soup *LOL*. This dish is very easy to prepare and can be ready in 1 hour coz I simmer to get the chicken taste out since I dun fancy the meat much :p. And today I decided to cook with Mee Suah and have it as dinner.... Yummy.....

And here is the recipe ;)

  • 2L Water
  • 1/4 Malay Chicken or Kampung Chicken (if u like more chicken, u can add more)
  • 100g Ginger , sliced thinly
  • 100 g Muk Yee (Black Fungus)
  • 4 tbs DOM or Yellow wine, Rice Wine
  • 2 Mee Suah
  • 5 tbs Sesame Oil
  • Salt to taste
  1. Heat saucepan and put in the Sesame Oil.
  2. Stir fry Ginger until fragrant and put in Muk Yee.
  3. Put in Chicken and stir fry until half cooked.
  4. Pour in Water into the saucepan and let it simmer for 30 minutes.
  5. Add in salt to taste.
  6. Bring it to boil and add in Mee Suah. Let it cook for 2 minutes.
