One of my favorite food is Chicken Wine. From young till now, I am so eager to have this dish and what I love most is not the chicken but the Muk Yee and the soup *LOL*. This dish is very easy to prepare and can be ready in 1 hour coz I simmer to get the chicken taste out since I dun fancy the meat much :p. And today I decided to cook with Mee Suah and have it as dinner.... Yummy.....
And here is the recipe ;)
Recipe
- 2L Water
- 1/4 Malay Chicken or Kampung Chicken (if u like more chicken, u can add more)
- 100g Ginger , sliced thinly
- 100 g Muk Yee (Black Fungus)
- 4 tbs DOM or Yellow wine, Rice Wine
- 2 Mee Suah
- 5 tbs Sesame Oil
- Salt to taste
- Heat saucepan and put in the Sesame Oil.
- Stir fry Ginger until fragrant and put in Muk Yee.
- Put in Chicken and stir fry until half cooked.
- Pour in Water into the saucepan and let it simmer for 30 minutes.
- Add in salt to taste.
- Bring it to boil and add in Mee Suah. Let it cook for 2 minutes.
- Lastly, put in the wine and stir. If you prefer more wine, you can add to your own taste.
Note : All the ingredients can be varied according o personal satisfaction.
