Do you know that you can order glasses over the internet? I know that in Malaysia, it's not a common practise to buy anything from the net but it's really very convenient to not to step out from the house to buy something. Great Discovery: www.ZenniOptical.com is one of those online shops where you can get your glasses at a very cheap price. You can choose the lenses that you prefered and click the frame that you like and placed the order. Simple, right? But of course, you need to know your power first :p

PPP : Theme Park
Holiday seasons are near and I am sure that everyone is planning their last holiday of Year 2007. Since in most northern countries are stepping into the winter seasons and also Christmas are near, I think most people in the tropical countries would love to fly over there to enjoy the cold experience and also the Christmas feel of it. However, for those people who want to try out a different kind of holidays while in Northern country such as Uk, you might want to make a trip to the famous and oldest Theme Parks in Pleasure Beach, Blackpool. This is indeed a good place for anyone, be it young and old.

PPP : How I grow my money
I can still remember my first reaction to this news brought to me by Jazzmint in April. That time I am still very blur on the facts about PPP and how to sign up and get paid (most importantly are the GETTING PAID by just doing some reviews in my very own blog). I can’t believe how this can be so true until I signed up for it and being paid 1 month after my assignment was approved via Paypal. Since then, it has been a routine for me to grab some post that I love and trust me, you really learn a lot from those post that you write. I did get a lot of information on those blog reviews that I did especially for health & traveling information.
Well, after a few months of seeing the money, I can’t wait to share across this cool news of PPP to all my friends who blog and some did really sign up for it (who dun want money, rite?). With PPP as the topic, I manage to get connected to some bloggers who are on PPP as well. Quite a cool way for blog hopping & growing money, dun you think?

PPP : Some facts on BP Whiting Refinery
This is a sponsored post
How well do we know about our petrol refinery and do we care about its impact to the environment? Well, in Malaysia, I don't think a lot of people are aware of the impact on the environment nor the safety carried out by the refinery. However, in The States, this is a big issue (maybe the people in USA are more aware of the environment than us). I am sure a lot of us recognize BP petrol and recently the Chicago Tribune ran an article about a BP Factory in Whiting, Indiana and misrepresented some important facts. We all know the importance of news & will take it seriously.
So, here's the actual fact about BP Whiting Refinery if you want to know the truth:
- Energy security and diversity - BP plans to spend more than $3 billion to modernize the Whiting Refinery to process additional heavy crude oil from Canada, a secure and reliable source.
- Only treated water into Lake Michigan - What is released from our refinery is treated water that is more than 99.9% water - not sludge. All sludge is treated separately, according to state and federal requirements, and never discharged into Lake Michigan.
- Well within legal limits - A new water discharge permit allows the refinery's average ammonia discharge to increase, but at levels that will still be less than half of those that federal environmental guidelines could allow.
- No harm to people or the environment - We follow state and federal laws, regulations, and guidelines that protect aquatic and human life.
- Continuous improvement - For the benefit of the environment, the Whiting Refinery voluntarily reduced total suspended solids in its water discharge by 40% in just the past four years.
- Modern technology - We operate a modern wastewater plant in Whiting today and plan to invest about $150 million to enhance the refinery's wastewater treatment capability.
- Collaborative, transparent approach - BP is working with federal, state and local elected officials, regulators, community and environmental organizations, and communities to develop comprehensive, environmentally sound plans.
- Fuel for the Midwest - The Whiting Refinery produces gasoline, diesel and jet fuel people need for their daily lives.
- Jobs now and in the future - Today the refinery has about 1,700 employees and another 1,500 contract workers. The planned modernization will create new jobs for about 2,000 contract workers during peak construction, as well as an estimated 80 full-time BP employees when complete.
Well, I hope the above facts will help you understand clearly on BP Whiting Refinery. They really care about the Earth and are doing their part on preserving the environment and strive for the best for the community in Whiting. A lot of people will get a job and their standard of living will be better.

PPP : My Daily Vegies
How many people actually love to eat vegetables... I really wonder about this because I see a very good example in front of me everyday (my brother lar :P ) To persuade him to take 1 serving of daily vegetables will be like asking the cow to jump over the moon. We all know that vegetables is the main source of fibers , mutivitamines & mineral but do we eat the correct portion? I know for me & my hubby would be no problem because I love vegies especially salad (minus the mayo please, I only take vinegrate).
So, for those people that want to increase their health but find taking vege is a chore to them, why not try an alternative vegetable supplement that is organic and prepack for the busy people (or people on the go) and most important is, you can drinkit. Now, do I get your attention? Yes, you read me correctly, because I found out about Drink My Daily Veggies on the internet, Ain't that brilliant? Beside using it as supplement, you can include it into your camping food as well (no more worries on spoilt vegies & save alot of space). Now, I really must go find out where to get it and give to my brother & Gerald (very hard to get fresh & cheap vegies in Doha).

PPP : My diamond story
Don't you love diamonds & especially it's from that "special someone". I still remember my very 1st diamond ring from my hubby. I didn't see it coming because he's not the romantic type of guy & I really loved that moment. As usual, he fetched me from my place after his work to hang out at his place. We don't go out much during the weekdays so, our normal dating time will be watching movies or tv or hang out with his nieces. All of a sudden, he asked me to go to his room and asked me to sit down at his bed with my eyes closed *whoa.... I am so excited at that moment*. There he is, giving me a stalk of 'rose' and asked me to open it & sitting there in the middle is the most beautiful oval diamond ring I ever got.

PPP : A princess & her duvet cover
This is a sponsered post
My hubby are very phobia of me mentioning Bedding Fairs or Sales in major shopping malls. This is because he will know that I will eventually head to the bedding section and drool over the bedsheets & most importantly duvet covers. And those that caught my eyes are not cheap for I have skins like princess *LOL*. I must have high thread count for my beddings so that it will not prick my skins & have a very good night sleep that will wake up feeling refresh. Hence, I will make sure the fabric is of high quality such as offered by Terry's Fabric.

PPP : My lovely Curtains
This is a sponsered post
For those who have step into my house & especially my master bedroom, you will be wondering why the developer put those not so standard windows. My window panel are formed in a U-shape with 4 panels & the height is not the usual height. This has made it harder to fix curtain poles & find a suitable curtain that suits my taste ( I am very choosy not just in color but also the fabric itself). The worst thing is, it's just 1 weekprior to our wedding. Luckily my hubby went to look & got me a set of simple yet lovely curtains & the best part is, he managed to get it on time.

PPP : Are you a survivor?
This is a sponsered post
Throw me into a situation and I think I will get out & survive it and in the end, I will turn it around to be in favour of me or I that’s what I hope so to do the best (So I dream & will only happens in dreamland). In reality, can I survive when I am faced with the worst situation? Where I am been deleted from the Earth (just like the USA Network's Burn Notice )… & worst of all, stranded in an unknown city with no money or resources. It the worse kind of nightmare anyone would want to be in & I pray hard that it will never happen to me in any point of my life.
Anyway, what will I do if I am in tat situation stranded in a new place with no money...
Let me see...if I am up to adventures, I would love my trip to turn to be like Mr. Beans on Holiday. Wouldn't it be great to get an adventure out of a misfortune?
So, I will find a way to earn money for food, shelter, transportation & money to call home. How to earn money, eh... let's see... I think will do street performance with whatever gadgets I have. It would a big experience for me to do it since I am note very good in singing, dancing or acting. But if Mr Bean can do it, I think I can humiliate myself to do it inorder to get money .... I think I will do anything just to get money beside stealing & selling my body ...
After earning enough of money for the day, I will try to get myself to the nearest embassy and report myself in. So, on the way to the Embassy, will hop on a train, bus or any kind of transport (pack with food & drinks) & try to mingle around with the natives & enjoy myself (better to enjoy then worrying myself, right?) Look at how Mr Bean's trip tat is full of adventures & suprises .... At the end of the day(s), I will reached a safe place with some good memories. Yeap.. that's how I wish I can do ....
In reality, I am not sure I can do it but will definately pray to God for help & go with the flow...So, I hope I am a survivor in the end.
Maybe I can get tips from the new TV series, Burn Notice that shows a CIA agents been deleted & cut off while he's in a mission.

PPP : Discount with coupons code
This is a sponsered post
I love to shop and one thing I love is the so easy & hassle free of online shopping. What's more to that that there are online coupons that will give you discounts on the item you order or free shipment. That's how easy & convenient of online shopping. One particular online store that I fav is the Dell coupon. Since I am looking for a replacement for my desktop, that's a great site to help me to get what I want and customised it to my needs with discounts given.

PPP : Star gazing
This is a sponsered post
Twinkle, twinkle little star.....
How I wonder what you are...
Up above the sky so high....
Since young, I have been fascinated by the beautiful stars in the sky and has been wondering how they actually look like. What I see is they twinkle & shine so bright at night. Sometimes, I can even sees some red shining stars in the clear black sky at night. So, there was once, my ambition is to be an astronaught, so that I can see the amazing stars up close. My dad also bought me a set of encyclopedia that has all the information on astronomy as well ... What will make it perfect would be a tools to see the star as well. Those days are impossible coz it would be so expensive. But now, with meade my sky (a fun, interactive, hand-held, point-shoot-and-identify multimedia guide to our universe that will guide you through the night sky better than if you had your own private astronomer standing next to you) it would be a perfect gift to anyone that has a heart for the night sky.

PPP : Planning a holiday
This is a sponsered post
I have been planning on holidays way ahead of time just to get cheap air tickets and also because we can schedule Gerald's home trip back from Doha. It's not easy to plan a future trip and it involces alot of checkings and comparing for prices and availabilty of a date (especially if it's during festive seasons like Christmas & Chinese New Years). For instance, I planned for our Christmas trip to Singapore and just 2 months before that, we got to know that Gerald is going to be based in Doha till the end of the airport terminal project. So, all the efforts of booking & calling up friends in Singapore went down the drains. So, imagine if I were to plan a further destination, my face & mood will be all black by then.
Anyway, I found this site that will makes any holiday planning easier especially in getting Cheap Hotels because that's the main concern for every traveller, right? We do not want to waste all our money in staying in an over rated hotels and not be able to get around for sight seeing due to poor planning as well.
Hotel Reservations provide a 1 stop web click and you can choose you favourite tour anywhere in the world, such as London, Asia countries, New York and you name it, they got it (not those small countryside, ok... ). This site is so easy to use, just a click here and there (where you provide your dates of travel & destinations) , wait for a few seconds (yeah, it's that fast.... I tried it just now) and voila.... a few choices are shown in front of your eyes with the rates as well. Gone are the trip to travel agency and time consuming for the old days. The best part for the site is, it's available for any people in any part of the world (as long as you got internet access *LOL*)

PPP : Black Diamond
This is a sponsered post
Diamonds are girls best friends and it's definately my very best friends as well ;) Diamonds are also the most precious stones on earth thanks to its rarerity and also it's the hardest stones as well. That's what makes diamonds the most precious stones. Diamonds comes in alot of color besides white and now, there's this new addition to the diamond families, the black diamond.
Diamonds are very common in jewellery and especially in wedding. Every bride would have at least 1 piece of jewellery that have diamonds setting & especially wedding rings. The reason why diamonds are so common in weddings because diamonds are forever and diamonds will glitter & shine. Diamonds also complement the wedding gown colors. Do check out this site that offers a variety of choices for wedding rings, pendants, studs and their newest collections of black diamond rings.
Black Diamonds are hot. Recently worn by many celebrities, Black Diamond Jewelry should be part of everyone's wardrobe. MySolitaire carries black diamond studs, black diamond earrings, black diamond engagement rings, and even black diamond rose cut jewelry. After visiting the site, I must say, the black diamonds are very unique and the prices or black diamonds are cheaper than diamonds. Hence, it makes a very good choice as accesories.

PPP : Favourite movie of all time
This is a sponsered post
The other day, during my team building session with EUS team, my big boss from London, Darren asked each of us what's our favourite movie of all time.
I can say that each of us has different favourite movies but there're a few that all of us agreed that it is a good movie and worth watching it. Among the movies that mentioned & agreed by all of us are Butterfly Effect, Bicentenial Man & Fifth Element. I love all the 3 movies mentioned and I have all three of it *LOL*
As for my favourite movies (beside the above list), I love A Little Princess, Constantine, My Best Friend's Wedding, Meet Joe Black, Mr. Beans On Holiday, Devil Wears Prada & Princess Diary.
So, which one is the best among all? Definately Fifth Element (^-^) for me & my hubby also love that movie.
A little bit about the movie:
The Fifth Element was screened in 1997. It is a sci-fi, action, comedy & love movie that was written and directed by Luc Besson, starring Bruce Willis, Milla Jovovich ( with bright orange hair ), Chris Tucker, Gary Oldman & Ian Holm. The costume design was created by French fashion designer Jean-Paul Gaultier, who produced 954 costumes for use in the film (I love the McDonald costume & Milla's costume).
The movie's central plot involves the survival of humanity, which becomes the duty of a taxi driver named Korben Dallas (Willis) when an extraterrestrial beautiful young woman that clad in almost bare clothing named Leeloo (Jovovich) falls into his taxicab. She is the Fifth Element ( regenerated in a laboratory on Earth from just a small fraction of a hand of the Perfect Being), whose appearance was prophesied by the Father Vito Cornelius (Holm) to the US president.
Korben's mission is to gather the other four elements (Earth, Fire, Water & Wind) from Diva Plavalaguna at Fhloston Paradise before a black planet that represents pure evil (appears every 5000 years) collides with Earth. The mission was made hard thanks to Jean-Baptiste Emmanuel Zord (Oldman) obsesion in thwarting Korben's effort by sending the Mangalors warrior aliens (quite stupid for warrior) after him.
To know more about this movie, you can rent the movies and watched it with your favourite snacks together with your loved one or when you feel like lazing at home on weekend. I can guarantee it's a nice movie to watch & also for collection.

PPP : How you got to know my blog?
This is a sponsered post
I have been wondering how people got to my blog site beside me telling my friends on my site and posting a shout out on my friendster. Since my blog is relatively new to the world (coz before April 2007, my only goal is to put all my nice scrapbooking up to let my friends & families have a look & also for my hubby to know about my life ), I must thank Jazzmint to promote my site in her blog. I think since then, my blog has been extended to her web friends & especially all those fanstastic mummy bloggers.
And most recently, I was tagged by Karen on technorati link exchange. So, that should be another way how my blog is made known to the world of bloggers (^-^).
So, beside all the above, how do we actually promote our blog & increase more traffic? I found this Website promotion where we can do website promotion, search engine optimization, link building & SEO consulting for just a little fee. Hmm, maybe that's how some blogsite have high Page Rank *LOL*
