Gong Xi Fa Cai

It's Chinese New Year and I'm back in Kota Kinabalu with my dearest hubby to celebrate with my in-laws.
Yup, Gerald is back from Doha. He reached KL on 16/2/07 afternoon. We fly back KK on 17/2/07 but something happen on that day. We missed the flight back to KK due to my forgetfullness of the time. The flight was supposed to be 7am but I remembered it at 9.30am.
So, there we are at the LCCT @ 8.15am trying to check in when we noticed the flight number is different & went to check my bookings @ the counter. Tried to get the next flight but all sold out for the day. In the end, got MAS flight, 9.15pm back to KK & my MIL postponed the reunion dinner to Chor 1. All thanks to me being forgetful *LOL*.

So, here I am, back in KK and wishing everyone a very Happy Chinese New Year & Gong Xi Fa Cai. May the year of the Pig bring us more prosperity and joy.

Bomba is here....

Finally, the Bomba arrived after 40 minutes. The fire was almost put out by the residents here. Left back some at the top and the side, which is too high for us to throw the water up.

Anyway, it's good that they showed up although it takes them some time. At least we can go to sleep and assured that no fire will broke out again tonight, for the hill is wet now.

Where is the BOMBA?

The hill next to my apartment suddenly caught on fire tonight. My mum saw it from the kitchen and she said it spread very quick. In just seconds, the whole hill went on blaze. The residents from Block K,L,M quickly use pails, and hose to put the fire down. As for me, I called the bomba. Gave down the details and it's already 30 minutes now. No Bomba arriving and lucky the fire was almost put out by the residents here ( Bravo!! ). Hmm, it makes me wonder how efficient the Bomba is....

Cozy moment - 3 days to go & it's Valentine day

Cozy moment with my darling Gerald. This was taken way back when Gerald is still staying in his Sis's place. Was celebrating Gerald's belated birthday with my favourite cake, Tiramisu from Alexis. Alexis is actually the place where we 1st met back in 2001 (Will blog about it 1 fine day).

Countdown to Valentine Day - 4 days to go

With 3 days to go, I am posting my 2nd presents for my Dear Dear Gerald.

This was taken in the Smokehouse at Cameron Highland in November 2003. We went up with my parents and later joined by your sis family. We had so much fun there during the holiday.

Countdown to Valentine Day - 5 days to go

For my dearest hubby, Gerald. This is my 1st Valentine present for you. I still remember during our dating period, you used to travel to Kuala Terengganu to be with me over the weekend (alternate Sat). That was in back in 2002....

Shoes

I'm an extremely choosy person when comes to shoes. So, when my favourite pair of sports shoes starting to show signs of worn out, I am facing with a big problem. That is in getting a new pair of shoes. Been shoe hunting a few months in a KL and Singapore but with no hope in falling in love with the right pair. Not until today in KLCC Nike shop that i found my favourite companion. This time, I fall in love with 3 pairs of Nike shoes. Took the photos and also the details and plan to email it to Gerald. Maybe he can get it cheaper in Doha, since he said the clothes there is quite cheap as compare to KL.

Lunch @ Delicious

On Saturday, I went out with Bee Li to Hartamas Shoping Center for lucky draw @ Kids Avenue. After that, had lunch at this Ah Yip Herbal Soup Restaurant. They sell all kinds of herbal soup such as Nourishment soup, Tonic Soup for Women, Tonic Soup for Men & etc.

After that, we went over to 1 Utama to shop for shoes. No luck for both of us, all the shoes that we like either no size or last pair (display set). Been window shop until almost 7pm coz Bee Li was very hungry by then. So, I recommended Delicious by Ms. Read.

The 1st time I had it with Jasmine, I had Homemade Pasta & Blackforest. So, this time, I ordered Spinach & Pine Nuts Quiche and Chocolate Pavlova for dessert. The quiche was too 'jelak' for me coz too creamy inside. The dessert was superb. It's a very good combination of slightly sour strawberry with sweet chocolate crunchy base. In fact, Bee Li ordered another Choc. Pavlova to take away for Kenji. Yummy.... definately will go again. He he... when Gerald is back, will ask him to go there have dessert ;)

Emotional, Am I or Am I Not?

Chinese New Year is near but I am not feeling eager about it. Gerald is coming back soon, yet I don't anticipate it at all. His 14 days Home Leave has been rejected by teh Project Director. Maximum day the PD give him is 12days. When he told me that a few days ago, I'm ok with it. But today, I felt the sadness. I can't let him know that while I am chatting with him, I'm crying at the same time now. I guess I am more emotional when I am near my mensess time.

I will see him on 16/2 at 1pm. We will fly back to KK on 17/2, 9am flight and will only be back in KL on 25/2 midnight. And he will fly back to Doha on 27/2 midnight.

I won't have time to be with him at our house. And next Chinese New Year, he won't be allowed to come back coz he is coming this year.

I can't even let my parents know that I am crying now.... Why GOD have to let me suffer like this?
