Loving smiles and caring looks
That earthly gifts cannot replace.

I wish you fine and simple pleasures.
I wish you many years of laughter.
I wish you all of life’s best treasures.

Dim Sum making, my hubby's new found hobby in Doha. He was left with no entertainment (tv spoilt & internet connection is on & off - thanks to the Bandwidth Hoggers), so he found a way to entertain himself and killing time during his weekend by cooking. Cooking has always been in his blood but I never thought of him making dim sum from scratch *coz you can't get the skin there, so, he uses flour to make the skin*
Let me treat you guys to some homemade siew mai here :p

Zzzzz.......

Does your hubby sleep earlier than you? Mine does and sometimes it is not a good thing coz he will start his orchestra. He really snores very loud and with rhythm some more :S

The worse was during our latest KK trip in Sept 07 where he snores very loudly until I can't sleep. I kicked him, slapped him and even tried waking him up so that he can change position to ease the snoring but it won't help at all. In the end, he has to sleep on the floor or I have to sleep terbalik (reverse).

Fun filled golf

Backdated post

I've wanted to talked about the Chinese New Year trip for so long but dunno where to start coz there's too many happy moments to tell. So happen that digital freebies gave away this kit, I shall talk about the fun fair in Kota Kinabalu. My 'tai so' Sis in law had some coupons given by her boss, so we went for it, 1 whole family, all in the Invader 4 wheel drive. We thought it's going to be lots of food to buy but it's more like lots of games to play & to win prizes. Out of so many games, I didn't expect they came up with golf. So, happily my hubby went to try it out but their equipment is not up to standard. Anyway, it's just a game but in the real golf, you really need to get a nice set of
Golf Equipment. I know Gerald would love to get the Titleist set (vy expensive)

Gerald goes green

What do you think when you see the title above? He he he.... Green got lots of meaning such as green with envy which is not very positive. Greens also means vegetables which is my hubby's favourite (mine too). Greens means go if you have a car and on the road..... but the green here is not all the above....

Gerald goes green means ....
...
...
...
he's into golf... and it's such an expensive sports to take up. However, he found a very good way in trimming his way into golf..... He he... he buy used golf balls when he's just practising and I find it very practical (you will never know when your ball will falls into ponds, swamps or just dissapear *LOL*) . So, for those beginners, try not to spend too much on the golf balls until you perfet your swing ; )

Slurrpss

Backdated post

On the 1st night (01.06.07) of my hubby back to KL, we went to have porridge steamboat at Sri Petaling. It was one of the must visit places for food when he is back in KL. In the middle of our dinner, I caught this act of my dearest hubby... his utmost satisfaction of eating egg yolk (Gerald's way). I love the way he eat his food, always so delicious ....

Project Runway

No, it's not the super model Project Runway but Gerald's current project in Doha, Qatar. His project is the Airport and so happen that they do a test run on laying the runway for the airfield and he got his camera with him (HP camera). Knowing tat this wife of his will be very curious on his work, he snapped some photos to let me see.

This is the first time I see such a huge asphalt paver. The one I normally see are those they lay the highway here in KL.

Workers laying the runway.

The asphalt paver

The photographer, my darling hubby Gerald.

Behind him is the midfield tunnel where it cut across the west runway. This is for workers to cross over the runway without being hit by the airplane *LOL*

Kota Kinabalu : Sutera Harbour Pt 1

It's been a busy week for me since Gerald came back on 1.6.07. We've been travelling to places in Malaysia and I just got down from Cameron Highland this minute ;) Will post up all the adventures that we both had later on. For now, let me share a beautiful place in Kota Kinabalu with you all.
For those who wish to travel to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah..... I would love to recommend this particular hotel resort for your stay. Sutera Harbour is really a great choice (besides 5 star status) because it's near town, have great view, nice beaches & beautiful yacht (they have a Marina Club as well) to see and drool *LOL*. For golf lovers, they have 18 hole golf course as well. And while your hubby gone for the golf session, you can enjoy a relaxing spa in Sutera Harbour ;)

Here's a photo of Gerald with all the beautiful yacht behind him.

Smile

When I woke up in the morning on 27.2.07 , first thing I did was took my new camera and play with it. The, my dearest Hubby did some move to make me laugh and here's what I captured. Him doing sort of like Egytian dance.... And his smile... bare teeth & nearly can't see his eye.... How I love his morning enthusiasm.

My dear dear's latest photo

I am so happy today. Gerald emailed me his latest photo in Doha that was taken on Friday at The Corniche. So, after chatting with him at 12am, I decided to do a scrapbook by using this photo and mine tat was self taken in Singapore on Christmas day.
